We have enjoyed our week in Frome, despite the April showers, but lovely to be staying in such a peaceful and comfortable cottage. So well equipped and a fantastic garden – the fox only seemed to visit when the sun was shining! Frome has so much to offer but we can recommend Old Bath Arms in Palmer Street – the steaks are fantastic. A visit to Nunney is also recommended for the walk, the castle and The George. Glastonbury and Wells were well worth a visit, as is Bradford on Avon and the river walk. Would like to have seen so much more – maybe next time! PS Our last evening at Castello – excellent!

A lovely, comfortable and peaceful retreat within walking distance of Frome town centre, and the Saturday market. We only had time for a flying visit, it was handy for us going to a concert at Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

We had a wonderful break as we always do at Holmwood, it’s literally like music for the soul. We’ll see you again.

We’ve had a lovely time in the coach house. A very relaxing place to stay and we especially enjoyed the fire on the cold evenings. Fab weather for the market on Sunday topped off by a late lunch at the ever popular bistro Lotte!

The Coach House is a very comfortable, very quiet, well appointed house with easy access on foot to an interesting town full of diverting independent shops and excellent eateries. We had a very relaxing, quiet time in the Coach House and in Frome and will certainly think of returning one day.

Thank you Nicola and Chris for another lovely relaxing week at the coach house. We enjoyed walking around Witham Friary and visiting the historic Seymour Arms pub. Great to see young artists in Britain at the ‘Present Tense’ exhibition at Hauser & Wirth, and visit St Mary’s Church. Bruton also a great place to walk. We can recommend The Talbot Inn at Mells, for a celebration and the Mells village cafe. Despite the wet weather, the wildlife in the garden has been fantastic – especially the great spotted woodpecker and nuthatch. Best of all the screaming foxes getting frisky on the lawn! We hope to return very soon.

Once again we have had a most enjoyable stay at your coach house. Everything was spotless and comfortable as usual and, of course, the location is just perfect. We hope to stay with you again sometime in the future.

Thanks for a lovely weekend in the coach house. I think it’s the first time we haven’t got the picnic chairs out for a drink in the garden, but hardly surprising given it’s the middle of December. I opened the curtains on our final morning and saw a fox padding through the garden. Linda missed it, but she did see badgers on a previous visit!

We had a lovely time again.
